Carbon Monoxide Detectors Available at Rye Brook Fire Department:
240 Carbon monoxide detectors are currently available for distribution at no cost to Rye Brook and Port Chester residents through the Rye Brook Firefighters at the Rye Brook Firehouse.
These Carbon Monoxide detectors were donated to the Village of Rye Brook by Michelle DiMicelli on behalf of the familties and friends of Carl Persson and Joseph Pendrak, two Rye Brook residents who unfortunately passed away from Carbon Monoxide poisoning in 2015.
The Carbon Monoxide detectors are available to be picked up seven days a week between 7:00a.m. and 7:00pm at the Rye Brook Firehouse located at 940 King Street. A waiver will need to be signed and one CO detector will be provided per address on a first come, first served basis until all are distributed.
The Village of Rye Brook thanks these families for this generous donation that we hope will save lives.
