Hello Homeowners:
Your home Village of RYE BROOK needs you now more than ever. By responding to Census 2020, you will help direct millions of dollars in federal funds to YOUR local community for public health, schools, roads, and other public services. The purpose of the census is to count people, not citizens. So even if you are not a citizen, but live in Rye Brook, we need to count you.
The census can be completed by phone or online and takes less than 10 minutes: www.my2020census.gov.
If you lost or can’t find the mailer with your code, you can look up your 12-digit code at the site by providing your address.
If you do not have access to a computer, ask a trusted friend or relative to help you over the phone. (The most personal question asked is your date of birth!) Do not, however, give any personal information to anyone claiming to be a census taker by phone. The government will not call you to take the census.
The census can also be completed by phone in several languages. Phone lines are open 7AM-2AM EDT.

FYI: Census 2020 is CONFIDENTIAL and only used for statistics. By law, your responses cannot be released to anyone, including law enforcement.

- The list goes on, including programs to restore wildlife, to prevent child abuse, to prepare for wildfires, and to provide housing assistance for older adults.
