Dear Rye Brook Residents:
Last night’s storm was devastating in many ways to the Village of Rye Brook. I am deeply saddened to tell you that along with all of the horrendous property destruction, the storm took the life of one Rye Brook resident, and that person’s spouse is still unaccounted for after an extensive search by the police departments from Rye Brook, Harrison, Westchester County and New York State. These were long-term residents who raised their family here. In fact, I just saw one of them walking in my neighborhood yesterday.
Rye Brook flags will fly at half-mast for the next seven days starting tomorrow.
