Winter 2019 Activities and Programs
Rye Brook Recreation is committed to providing quality recreation programs.  In the winter months, our recreation programs are moved inside the schools, Bellefair gym and the Anthony J. Posillipo Community Center to get our participants out of the frigid temperatures.  The Recreation Department offers basketball (youth & adult), bowling, zumba and many other activities.  Others popular programs include volleyball for kids, a wood craft class for kids and a defensive driving class for adults. If you are cooped up, come out and cheer on the participants. On-line registration for winter activities will begin on Wednesday, December 19th at 9:30pm. For all outside contractor program registration, you may register on-line and mail your payment to the Recreation office. ----> View Winter 2019 Activities Brochure <----

SUSTAINABLE RYE BROOK
What is sustainability?
Sustainability is based on a simple principle: Everything that we need for our survival and well-being depends, either directly or indirectly, on our natural environment. Sustainability creates and maintains the conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony, that permit fulfilling the social, economic and other requirements of present and future generations. Sustainability is important to making sure that we have and will continue to have, the water, materials, and resources to protect human health and our environment. — U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Please view for more information
